The leader does always set the trail for others to follow, even if it’s off a cliff or in bad investments.
The problem with following today is that we can’t trust those leading. When we see the leaders looking out for their own self-interests and wallets, we must fend for ourselves.
Check out the lastest book by Bach Anon titled Dropping Almonds. I’m not sure if there is a translation for German, but the book chronicles a Vice President’s walk through executive leadership over a two year period. Until we have leaders that can be trusted, I’d rather go at it on my own.
